We understand that purchasing a sauna is a big step and there are too many sauna models in the market. If you are a first time buyer or just started researching, you might be confused with all the information out there and don't know how to select a sauna that will fit your needs.

To make it easier, we have created an education center to help explain the differences between heaters, wood and general features. Once you understand what to look for, shopping for a sauna will be easier.

Type of Heaters
Type of Heaters When shopping for an infrared sauna, heaters should be the first thing to look at. Mainly there are two types of heaters, ceramic and carbon fiber...

Wood Selection
Wood Selection Most saunas in the market are made out of two types of wood; Hemlock-Fir and Western Red Cedar. All infrared saunas' walls are constructed using double side T&G (tongue and groove) panels around a wooden frame. The major difference in quality depends on the T&G thickness and workmanship.

Capacity and Dimension
Capacity and Dimension When talking about dimension, we have to mention how saunas get measured, and why some saunas have a large difference between interior and exterior dimension. Most sauna marketers measure their saunas from the widest possible points (crown tip to tip) to show a larger size.

Electrical Safety
Electrical Safety Infrared saunas contain a lot of wires and electrical components for all the heaters and features the sauna has. Having the wires secured and covered by wire conduits and ensuring the heaters are safe will eliminate any electrical or fire hazard.

Additional Features
Additional Features The last step is to evaluate the additional features based on your own preferences.
