I am mainly interested in a "sweat lodge" environment for a small room in my home. If the carbon fiber heater heats a person's body and not the air, does that mean that I can't get a sweat going like I could in a regular sauna, where the air is heated?

Answer and Comments

In an infrared sauna a person tends to sweat a lot because infrared penetrate below the skin. Also, since the infrared heaters do not heat the air, the sauna is more comfortable and a person can stay in it for a longer period of time.
