What is the optimum temperature for a weight loss? I know that cardio should be around 115 °F. Would 140°F and 30 minutes be optimal?

The optimal temperature for weight lose will vary depending on the user, but on an average it's between 125 to 135 for 30 to 40 minutes. Generally speaking, your body will shed water weight as you sweat, so after using the sauna a few time you would know what temperature is comfortable and allow you to sweat during the sauna session.

Using the sauna alone will only reduce the body water weight. For an effective weight loss, it should be combined with a healthy diet and exercises. To get the best benefits on the infrared sauna, it's best to start using it before it reaches the set temperature because the heaters are at full capacity during the pre-heat time. For example, if you set the sauna to 130 degrees, you should start using the sauna around 120 degrees.
