I note that the NEMA 6-30 plug is good for 30 amp, but it appears that the model FWC400 is only 2900 watts. Therefore would you recommend a 15 amp or 20 amp 2 pole breaker?

Answer and Comments

The main power box can support 30 amps (4000 watts in 220 volts setup) so we include a NEMA 6-30 plug with our 220 volts saunas. However, the FWC400 sauna itself only needs 15 amps (20 amps recommended). If you install a NEMA 6-30 outlet, the breaker has to match it and should be a 30 amps breaker. If you want to use a 20 amps breaker, you can either replace the power cord plug or run the sauna power cord to the box directly.
